All of mad men , it must have been really uncomfortable for women, all those corsets , suspenders and high heels, but they looked fab.

Jennifer Connelly’s outfit in Labyrinth. I was obsessed with the 501s, the brown loafers, the pouffy white shirt, the embroidered waistcoat and the half up glossy, glossy hair. 80s perfection.

You beat me to it! I loved the whole aesthetic of Mad Men, and how it subtlety shifted throughout the seasons from Betty's late '50s dresses in season 1 through to the early '70s feel at the end. Brilliant 👏

@FGSWhatNow yes, the whole aesthetic was brilliant , and the outfits changed very subtly, but in marked contrast by the end from how they started in the fifties. I loved the decor as well, the mark Rothko paintings and furniture pieces, superb.

Those clothes! I love the programme, but it's worth watching just for the clothes. Everything looks perfectly cut and fitted, and great fabric that moves well. Or at least to my completely untrained eye.

I'd kill for the swing coat - the edge to edge one - she wears in the first(?) episode when she's going to the good butcher because the Rabbi is coming.
