ATM Problems?

Hey guys,
Wanted to take out money from an ATM today so was planning on withdrawing 2x 250 withdrawals, so i go ahead put my pin in select amount and it says processing, the machine started counting the money but then an error came up on the screen and the ATM gave me back my card with no money? I checked My bank and the money had in fact been taken from my account for some reason but I didn't get it. The shop in which the ATM wasn't helpful at all and my bank can't do anything until the payment has gone from pending to completed. I'm absolutely gutted as we are going on holidays on Sunday and this is my week's wages I was bringing with me and now I don't even know if I'll get it back in time ,
Has this happened to anyone else and what was the outcome?

Thanks.

Yes, happened to me, the money went back in very quickly.

I don't think you can do two lots of £250 in a day, needs to be over two days.

Yeah I wasn't sure 😕 I had tried to withdraw 250 but it didn't go through so I tried again and it gave me 250 so I should of had another 250 in my account left but I didn't know the first amount had been taken out even though I never got it , it was so strange, never had this happen before and as I said the worst part was it was my wages and using it for holiday money 🙄😢 so I'm hoping it's back in it soon , thanks

Ah hopefully it's back in soon, i even contacted the people who runs the ATMs or whatever they are called and they said oh yeah we can see the transaction and it says debited but try do a chargeback but I'm unable to do that until the payment is not still pending on my account ( using revolut)

Happened to me I called the number on my card explaining everything including the error message money was put back into my account and they investigated it to be sure. Just call the number on the back of the card and report it.

It goes back in. It's stressful at the time like

word of advice for the future, use your standard bank card to withdraw cash not revolut. If you use revolut it goes through as a card transaction and you have to do a chargeback which takes time, whereas your bank will have a separate protocol specifically for ATM claims.

Just FYI, most bank cards have a limit of £500 per day (not sure on your specific card)
