What's frumpy and what's not?

Having a nightmare clearing out clothes. What to throw and what to keep?

Anything you wear and think, I don't feel nice in this.

What lifts you mood or makes you feel pleased with yourself? Keep that.
What is useful? Keep that unless rags.
Everything else…consider (and in my case keep as bitter experience has taught me that I come back to stuff, currently wearing a cardigan I haven’t worn for about five years).

I have no clue so I'm interesting to read some tips. I buy things that I think are good and then I see them pulled to pieces on here for being uncool or frumpy.

I think waterfall cardigans are frumpy but boyfriend cardigans with a straight hem are ok.
