Single parents - what do you do for work?

Sorry I’m sure this thread has been done before but I need a career change and I need inspiration

I am a midwife. Childcare is hard but my career is so worth it.

Middle manager in the civil service. Don't class myself as true full single parent as I share custody of primary aged DD 50/50 with her dad. I was/am a lone parent to elder adult DS who hasn't seen his dad since he was a baby but as he's older now again feel a bit fraudulent calling myself a single parent.
