Keeping tigers at animal sanctuaries?

We visited one today that had lions and tigers in this very old and tired 'sanctuary'. Half were asleep and the others just paced up and down relentlessly. Is this really the best life they could have? Is it sheer cruelty?

IMO, that is just cruelty. Pacing is a very common and obvious sign of boredom and stress. Is this in the UK? Not that they will do anything as they're pretty useless, but it's worth reporting to the RSPCA. If enough people report it they may help.

Reporting to local newspapers can help pile pressure on the RSPCA, too.

Utterly cruel, I can't bear it
