Would you bring this up with school? Possible trigger, child abuse

So over the summer holidays, during a conversation with 10yo DS, he brought up that during a PSHE lesson someone asked what the youngest age a woman had got pregnant was. Apparently the teacher went on to say she didn't know and proceeded to do an internet search on it and up popped the age of 5...... DS then made a comment to the teacher that he wouldn't want to know who the Dad was to have made a 5yo pregnant. I had an awkward conversation with him about how there are some horrible things that happen in the world etc.

Am I right in thinking that this is something the teacher shouldn't have looked into and answered in front of the class? They were Y4 and Y5. I just want to check I'm not being precious before I talk to someone at the school about it.

Ooh I have to say I wouldn’t have handled it like that. I think I would have said ‘I don’t know, but girls can get pregnant from when their periods start, but legally have to be 16’ or similar and moved the conversation on. I think it probably is worth a conversation with the school yes.
