What to pay Babysitter?

Hi,
How much do people pay for babysitting?.

My neighbour’s daughter is coming over one Saturday evening probably around 7pm -11:30

She is 17, looking after my 4 year old. Who she knows fairly well. If any issues then the mum (neighbour) will come round as she knows my daughter very well !

From our local facebook page the going rate seems to be £10-12 an hour for teenagers. More like £12-15 for anyone with childcare qualifications.

Our babysitter is 15, going on 16, and we pay £12 per hour.

£50 plus snacks

Minimum £10 per hour, £12 if she’s really in demand. (They prioritise the families who pay well)

Thanks. She’s not really ‘in demand’ she doesn’t do it as a job.
