Vented tumble dryers

My mother dryer broke down. It was failing for some time and there was no point with a repair man because there was too much wrong with it.

I bought a new one and waiting for delivery. I was watching YouTube videos about the vent installation.

I want to ask to tumble dryers come with the plastic clamp to attach to the vent or is that a separate thing from a hardware shop.

I think the old dryer had them pieces but my mother is aging and she has some behavioural issues that I strongly suspect is dementia. I came home one day after work to find a plastic contraception in a corner and she was able to tell me what it was. She dismantled the vent outside because of fires. We never had a fire but she was paranoid. Another day she pulled out the dryer and had it plugged into an extension cord. I knew that was risk and I was able to go around it by waiting for her to go to bed and plug the dryer in again into its appropriate slot.

Sorry for rambling. So she seems to be obsessed with the dryer and doing stuff with it.

The old dryer doesn't have any clamps because she likely got rid of them.

I am wondering if the new dryer will have everything or will I have to go to a hardware shop.

On a different note - I find it hard to get a diagnosis for my mother. She's displaying behavioural and mood stuff that I strongly suspect could be dementia but the GP wrote me off citing 'memory loss'.
