How do you measure the length of your labour?

Random question but curious. So when someone asks you how long your labour was from what point do you count??

My first waters broke 48 hours before, first contraction 4 hours before, "active labour" was about 2 hours and pushing about 10-15 mins

My second was first contraction to birth about 60 hours, regular/proper contractions to birth about 2.5 hours, waters breaking about 40 mins, active labour 30 mins and pushing about 1 min..

I usually use from "regular contractions" so 4 hours for the first and 2.5 hours for the second.

Which one do you use 😆😆😆

From when contractions started until I had my third and I never had one contraction pain just woke up in the night involuntarily pushing and felt his head. Waters never burst till he was crowning. My first was an hour and ten mins, waters went the day before but I was in hospital and on checking I wasn't contracting and second was 45 mins, waters went and contractions were on top of each other and intense. Never had a slow build up of contractions.
