Raised blood platelet

Hi does anyone have raised blood platelets

my last test was 435 , and having another test after 2 months
getting really worried incase it has raised by a huge amount .

anyone had these issues and what was outcome .

its really scaring me as fear the worse

Yes for several years, I got referred to heamotology who did further blood tests and they all came back normal. Iv since lost weight and they've come down. A one of reading I certainly wouldn't worry about either as it can be left overs from a cold/ infection ect and also if your worrying about cancer, as I was my heamotologist said it would literally be in the thousands and he wouldn't do anything unless it was consistently over 600 for a minimum of 3 months
