If you have a prolapse, do you still run?

I've been given mixed messages and don't want to make things worse. I have a very mild cystocele prolapse and have been told by one GP it's fine to run, one said hold off for 6 months whilst doing pelvic floor exercises daily. If you've got experience of this I'd love to hear from you!

I was told not to... but then I have a cystcele and a rectocele and had a hysterectomy as well. Basically I was warned not to do any high impact sport (inc running) as anything slack can drop further!
I'd give yourself 6 months of pelvic floors and then run!

I might just do that! I'm also wondering about using a pessary....
