Perhaps silly Q. What tape to tape up window where all sealant has gone.

We can't really re seal it because of its location and proximity to the curtain rail.
What tape should we use that's durable

I used this to tape up a fish tank. Sticks well even in the wet. Would probably work?

By chance someone on our local fb pages was asking for window repair people so maybe I should get them to look. It's a large white plastic window frame and one side of my living room wall is black with soot. I thought it was shadow, but dh tried to wash it and it smeared. I can only think it's road car soot and the plastic frame has a huge gap that side.
