7mo with ‘small appetite ’?

DD is 7.5 mo, she was ebf until 6 months old and weaned onto formula and food at same time

she has a few bottles a day, I’d say at best she’ll take a 6/7oz one? But mainly takes 4oz

she has one in the night but overall not much?

even food, for breakfast I give half a weetabix with some formula and it takes her time to finish that and she doesn’t always finish she closes her mouth when done. With finger foods she has a good go, just drops some of course

i I think I’m just asking anyone else got a baby like this? My eldest her brother had and still does such a big appetite! Eats anything and everything he was nailing bottles and food at this age

shes very active too just about to start crawling , but weight wise she’s fab she has big chunky legs and arms I love it! She’s very healthy and thriving so it’s literally just me being concerned haha

It's absolutely fine. My first born didn't have anywhere near as big an appetite and my second. I'm actually shocked at how much my second can eat because of how little my first eats.
First son is long and thing, second is a wee tank.

She has got a bit of a cold atm, a cough and phlegm the other night she vomited her whole bottle up and she did one earlier today it’s when she starts coughing it can bring it up for jer

My ds never drank more than a 4oz bottle, she used to drink little and often and has never been a big eater..

My son didn't really touch any food til he was 12m he just wasn't interested, as long as she's not losing weight I'd say she will be fine!

Don't panic op just offer food/fruit/vegetables etc little and often and your baby will eat what they feel they can eat

If it makes you feel any better my almost 3 year old some days will only eat a banana all day and that's it and then other days he will eat spaghetti Bol, some cheese, an apple, a load of cucumber and carrots with hummus and drink loads. There's seems to be no rhyme or reason

In my experience, all periods off illness result on smaller appetite too. You know yourself, you may just not fancy anything of you feel crap

I think im
just hyper aware as she was breastfed so I obviously wouldn’t have known if she had a big or small appetite as I wouldn’t know what she was getting per feed?

but this is reassuring I mentioned it to my mum who seemed shocked so I’ve panicked but she is so alert , hitting milestones and so filled out and chunky so it sounds like she’s just not got a big appetite!

Im so used to my eldest too who’d eat a weetabix and banana for breaky at 7mo!! And was on 8oz by 3 months old😂 even now he’s so tall and slim we don’t know where he puts it all
