Which kindle

Decided its about time I got a kindle as house overrun with books that I cant part with. I had a look on Amazon and at an old thread on MN. Decided on a paperwhite 6.8. But there's a few different models of the paperwhite including a kids version which comes with a free case. Is there much difference between the models. Thanks. Too much choice sometimes!

Anyone? I know I'm a bit late to the kindle party.

I have Paperwhite 10th generation, it’s been on the go for five years, absolutely love it. I know there’s newer ones but I can’t think what else I’d need. I did pay to go ad free as they were annoying me.

Actually the paper white kids looks like a good deal as 11th gen, just remember to cancel the kids subscription

Thanks for replying. Yes the kids one looks a good bet. Others seem to range from around £129 to £ 179 without much apparent difference, I'd rather have the slightly larger screen.

there’s a new one, Oasis I think, but I can’t see myself ever needing to jot down notes etc to need it. And it’s very pricey!
