…In a developed country, not somewhere horrific for women like Afghanistan.

Oh yes, I totally agree with everything you’ve written and you’re right, it’s both! You’ve nailed it perfectly! I honestly think I’d be too scared to be a man. I think they live with this kind of background buzz of agitation… tinnitus of the balls! 😆
I think it’s the frustration that gets them into trouble. Boredom too. I think men get quite bored and frustrated quite easily. I think having male anatomy would really get on my nerves… it would be like having an attention seeking toddler as a conjoined twin, demanding bowls of dry cheerios at all hours then throwing them everywhere, smashing up ceramic. I’d just want to detach it and put it up for adoption. Which reminds me of a song from the 90s called Detachable Penis. Ridiculous.😆

As soon as I read the word ‘detach’ in regards to your would-be penis I had that song pop into my head 😸

Ideally something awesome like a grizzly bear or an elephant, but failing that a man.
Id love to walk through the woods alone and not feel any nervousness.

A man for over Christmas. A woman for the rest of the year.

user1471538283 · 02/09/2024 16:29

A man. Specifically a white middle class one. I see all sorts of incompetence that get paid more and promoted because they are men.

And I'd like to see some men I've known to be women and cope with sexism, periods, childbirth and feeling unsafe.

Dolliesdisasterousdayout · 02/09/2024 16:32

A woman. I like being a woman.

Or a sloth maybe.

w1ldfl0wer · 02/09/2024 16:36

So far we have rock, giraffe, cat, grizzly bear, elephant, oh and Golden Retriever? And sloth 😄 Don’t they only come down to the ground like once a week when they need a poo? 🤔 (not a sloth expert).

I would also choose a cat, but if that is not an option........I would choose being a well spoken, wise, beautiful and rich woman.

ShillyShallySherbet · 02/09/2024 16:40

Woman, 100 percent. Or a cat if that’s an option!

Can I come back as a cat owned by a rich wise woman? Sounds like a plum job!

Coconutter24 · 02/09/2024 16:52

I’m a woman and I’d come back as a woman. I see how much pressure is on some men to earn and provide and I don’t think I could take it. I earn and contribute but my DH is the bread winner so any problems he usually has to sort it. I enjoy working and having plenty of time with my DC but if I came back a man chances are I’d have to work more and loose time with them

VimesandhisCardboardBoots · 02/09/2024 17:00

I'm male and I think I'd quite like to try coming back as a woman.

I'd like to grow up not being taught that emotions are bad and should be hidden.

It'd be nice to not have that competetiveness, that anger at the world, just to not be so testosteroney!.

And I also reckon you lot have better orgasms.

expiredplants · 02/09/2024 17:08

A T Rex. No humans to worry about and I could eat anything else that annoyed me 😂

I think the females were the larger ones, if so I’d be female please. If I have to be human then definitely male. Much easier life.

MushMonster · 02/09/2024 17:11

Well, between a man and a woman, always a woman!
If cats are allowed, can I please please please be a domestic cat? That is a life of luxury!

Teajenny7 · 02/09/2024 17:12

A woman.

Strawberrycheesecake7 · 02/09/2024 17:16

I understand the appeal of coming back as a man but personally I’d prefer to always be a woman. I love being pregnant and breastfeeding and also have very traditionally feminine interests. I don’t think I’d fit in well as a man.

Bluebellsinthewind · 02/09/2024 19:09

This thread has me wringing my hands.

A man - so I could eat and not put on weight ( like the men I know)

A woman - because I enjoy being a woman/wife/mum

A cat - but one who eats normal food, not cat food.

Also always thought being a Koala would be great

Tough question op 🤔

Yozzer87 · 02/09/2024 19:11

A woman every time. Being able to carry and nurture children, femininity, female friendship and multiple orgasms.

StoatofDisarray · 02/09/2024 19:27

A man of course! Why would I want to come back as the world's second class citizen?!

@ICallPeopleDudeNow

Giraffes also have the most fabulous eyelashes

That’s decided it then! Grin

midgetastic · 02/09/2024 14:48

Man please
Nowt special about being a woman just a lot of sexist crap all your life long

And men get to eat more

Oh yes - eating more. I’m so jealous of what my male colleagues can eat for lunch! Or eat during the day in general!
