Getting lenses replaced without eye test??

Hi,
I’ve just bought a pair of glasses on Vinted… they’re frames that are currently on sale in specsavers that I was eyeing up the other day whilst there with my daughter. (They’re £170 new so I didn’t get them there!) Can I just rock up to specsavers and ask them to replace the lenses with my own prescription? I don’t need an eye test, had one recently.

Specsavers are franchises so I suppose they won't have a rule as such. If one branch says no then at least you can ask a different one!

i doubt they will because sometimes the frames break when you put the lenses in which is fine when it's their frames as they sold them to you.

Get a separate eye test then use Lensology.

I've asked Specsavers to replace lenses in glasses I bought from their store several years earlier as I liked the style and just wanted to update to my latest prescription and they've always told me it's cheaper to get a new pair. This may be because I get 50% off as I'm on their contact lense scheme but they've always seemed reluctant and try and persuade you to just get a new pair.
