hiya i needed to know something. so i had to move house & my new landlord asked me to move to uc from esa because housing benefit doesn’t exist anymore and that i have to apply for the uc housing element. i researched uc before & saw the transitional protection because i am on the severe disability premium, but when i researched it again it says if you voluntarily move you wont get transitional protection? if i knew this i wouldnt have moved to uc until i got the migration notice!! but then when i kept researching it says if you get severe disability premium you get the TP regardless? i am in a very sticky situation here, does anyone know what will possibly happen here? do i need to speak to someone at uc about this??
