Curtains

Can someone please help me to buy readymade curtains for my bay window?
The width is 285cm and drop 137cm.

I'm looking at johnlewis readymade curtains. They come in pairs and the widths are
167x137
228x137

Should I get 2 of 167x137? Or 1 pair of 228x137?

Thank you.

I've reposted your message to myself so that I can see the measurements

If the width of your window is 285, generally as a minimum you want at least half that again or double for a decent gather. But if the curtains are tab or ring top you can get away with less.

So ideally you want 285 + 142.5 = 427.5cm in total divided by 2 is 213cm so the 228 x 137 will be sufficient as they will give you one and a half widths.

I hope that makes sense!

Do you close your curtains….if so then I’d go for 2 pairs of the smaller. If you always leave them open then just one pair of the bigger.
