Grey's The New Blonde by Henry Priestman. Johnnie Walker played it a lot on Radio 2 but it wasn't a huge hit...

@NellyTimes@ I love Ride, particularly Vapour Trail and Dreams Burn Down. I'm going to see them play in a couple of months and I can't wait!
They're going to be supported by Bdrmm who I really like as well

For a complete change of pace, I absolutely adore Sanvean by Dead Can Dance

@NellyTimes Also a massive Ride fan. Seeing them in London soon.

Also The Cat Empire. More people should know about them.

Sly, The Wine Song, Thunder Rumbles are all such happy makers.

So many.. I have quite broad (and at times obscure) taste in music.

But I will say this - a work friend said a few weeks ago “I wish I was a little bit taller” so I said “I wish I was a baller”. Instead of saying “I wish I had a girl who looked good, I would call her” she and everyone else around us just looked at me blankly, and I was very sad about it..

Pulp - Ansaphone

Ooh I had a tape that someone made for me with this on. I also love Answering Machine by the Replacements.

Both have been usurped by voicemail 😁 but still great songs.
