...with someone who has favourited my leggings?
I'm new to Vinted and am a bit clueless about what to say!

Why do you want to chat to them?

kiana2015 · 01/09/2024 17:22

I think op means Vinted is suggesting she start a chat? If this is the case then they prompt you to send them a message to ask if they want more details, offer discounted price etc. in my experience I prefer not to message as if they want more info they will message me

You don’t need to do anything. Sometimes if I favourite something the seller offers a discount. Usually they do nothing. I do nothing if buyers favourite my items. I figure if they want to make an offer they will and we take it from there.

Sometimes when I save an item to favourites I receive the following from the sellers:

  • an offer with a new, lower price
  • something like 'if you buy today, I could post tomorrow '
  • 'I have bundle discounts on'

I favourite a lot while buying and get messages like “I can send today if you buy before 1pm” or offering me a lower price.

Don't, it's very annoying, unless you want to offer them a lower price. If they want your leggings, they'll buy them- they don't need to be pestered.

IrisApfel · 01/09/2024 17:37

Thank you!
I don't want to pester anyone so will just answer any questions I'm asked.
