Car recommendations please...

Hi all,
Boring topic but I'm clueless and was hoping for recommendations.

Previously had a Suzuki Swift but now looking for a new car and need it asap. I'm sick of looking!

I would like something bigger...a bit more roomy in the back and more boot space. I like the Qashqai but not sure I want to spend quite so much. I'd decided on the Nissan Juke as I thought it's a bit cheaper than the Qashqai and bigger than my Suzuki. However, reviews say it's small inside (have yet to have a proper look/test drive due to work/children etc).

I want something around 2/3 years old ideally. Around 15,000; so no recommendations for a Range Rover or BMW 😂
I also don't really want an estate and have been advised Japanese/Korean cars are good to stick with...
I mainly have my 2 children in the car and drive regularly for work. So I don't need a fancy sporty version, just reliable and good fuel consumption.

So any recommendations please for a mid sized car, not too boring looking! Thank you.

I absolutely love driving my 2021 Mazda 3 hatchback. It's got a big boot too.

Have you looked at a ford explorer?

We tried a juke on holiday and it was too small with 2 kids. Annoying as we also can't afford a qashai

Jukes are ridiculously tiny inside, I'd struggle to get 2 of my kids in there without arguments.

I drive a Kia Sportage and adore it! Mine is 5 years old now, but I've owned it for 18 months, so bought at 3 years old and it was a smidge over £15k (but you could probably get a 3yo one for around that now). It is spacious, but economical, lovely to drive and it has 7 years warranty.

My MIL has a Juke and it’s tiny, smaller than standard hatchback like a Golf inside. The seatbelts are also weirdly short and as a result we found it really hard to belt install an infant seat (we’d flown and not bothered with the base) so bare that in mind if your kids are in any belt installed car seats like baby carriers or the rear facing ones.
