Retired couple in our late 50’s - moving from London, would love to be walkable to the sea, but can only afford to move once so it needs to be the right place hence my plea for help and advice. Whitstable we’ve found the traffic getting in and out off putting, Birchington felt too sleepy. Daughter will need to get to London for work once a week. We adore Faversham - but I found the sea so uplifting on our Herne Bay look around day - I’m just so confused. Has anyone living in those areas got any advice please? I’m sure if I lived in Faversham (which I adore), I’d be able to train/bus it to Herne Bay for beach days? My brain is so addled - can anyone offer some helpful thinkings and advice please?
