Gastroenteritis

Need help, in an urgent panic, my husband and I have just gone down with gastroenteritis, I felt funny all day yesterday and been up all night 😩 he's just started with it this morning, how on earth can we look after our 3 year old and 8 week old 😞😞 so terrified of them both getting it as well, especially our baby 😭 anyone else had this?

Hand hygiene is your friend. Keep a hand towel just for the two of you, if you have more than one toilet isolate yourselves to using just one of them. Keep wiping down door handles and high traffic touch points. My husband had it a fortnight ago and by following all of this none of the rest of us had it.

To add it's tough with young kids. We had to keep ours off nursery and pre school the once because even though they were symptomless we physically couldn't leave the house to take them.
