Ideas for a thankyou gift

My friend has helped me out massively this summer holiday with childcare. She's had my 2 little ones for 4 full days, she's also dog sat at the house for me for a week. She lives an hour away so lots of travel involved.

Any ideas please for an appropriate gift?

£100 worth of petrol.

I've already covered her travel costs.

Awkward as housing for a week is massive!

Depends on her (and yours) financial circumstances.

Skint: £100 Aldi voucher
Not skint: voucher for a luxurious facial massage

If you are skint: Nice plant/flowers and chocolate.

Can you tell us a little more about your friend, without being outing? How old is she, what sort of things she likes doing? Is she more indoorsy or outdoorsy?
