What is this?

I've found this hidden in my dc's old travel cot. I have no idea what it is or where it has come from. If I can work out what it is then I might be able to work out who left it there. Thanks.

No idea but want to know. Is there anything inside?

It a Quran

Google reverse image search suggests it is a pocket sized Koran. Is that what's inside when you unzip?

Inside it's written in what I assumed was Arabic...but I don't know any Muslim people so I have no idea how it's got into the cot?!?

It's been dropped into it at some point, probably accidentally falling out of a pocket or bag, and that could have been anywhere in the UK or abroad. Where did you take the travel cot? Was it ever in a secondhand car or a taxi? On a flight anywhere? In a hotel or guesthouse?

It's never been out of the country. Was taken to the Isle of Wight ten years ago. And then just moved around family members houses when it was needed. The only person who has used it in the last 5 years was my sisters and she's atheist. Will ask her if she knows who it belongs to. Thanks all.

Interesting! Keep us updated on your sister. Perhaps she lent it to a Muslim friend?

She has only used the cot when she's visited us (she lives in another European country). But I guess she could have found it/been looking after it for a friend and then it got dropped when she visited us. I will ask her and let you know what she says 😆
