How many hats do you have?

In my living room I have a Union beanie and a summer straw hat.

This made me wonder how many I have. I counted: a trilby, a fluffy bucket hat and a baseball cap.

I don’t wear hats.

No idea. Quite a few. I wear some of them.

I have a sun hat which I always wear when out.

In winter I have a black beannie, which would be called a "woolly bunnet" where I come from. I always wear it in winter.

Now you mention it, I should audit the hat and glove situation before winter arrives. Good point.

3. Competent, achieving, professional hat
4. Hat with "chronic imposter syndrome" stamped on the front
5. Hat that wants single me to get a partner
6. Hat that only socialises out of the house once in a blue moon
7. Hat that inspires me to clean and aim for a zen, spa-like home
8. The hat that says Fuck It and leaves the ketchup splodge on the wall until tomorrow (ish)

2 straw sun hats, 2 winter hats, 1 corduroy cap and 1 I'm not sure how to describe!

Several caps for running, at least 3 winter/woolly hats, a baker boy hat which I don't think I've ever worn, and a cute tinker bell baseball cap from eurodisney.

I have a straw sun hat that I wear when sitting out in the garden in summer, 2 woolly hats with Pom Poms on top, 2 beanie style woolly hats that I don’t wear anymore and two baseball hats.

They're my favourite thing to knit and crochet. Everyone in my house has loads. I probably have 20 and my kids half that

None. I feel claustrophobic with anything on my head even a coat hood ,cant cope with thjngs round my neck either

Gosh, probably around a dozen. Maybe more. I love hats! I have three posh hats, complete with hat boxes which I have worn for weddings, quite a few wooden bobble hats, a couple of straw sun hats and quite a few caps which I wear for gardening. 🎩 🧢 👒

A couple are wide brimmed straw hats, and four or five are baseball caps.

I think I have one formal posh hat that my mother bought me to wear to my sister's wedding, because "It's the done thing. You can't go to a wedding with no hat!!" I think I wore it for all of about an hour and since then (more than 20 years ago) it has lived in the back of my wardrobe. I don't really do formal, not in the hat department.

*woollen not wooden, which would be interesting but rather uncomfortable 🤣

I have loads of bobble hat and beanies.
I have a north face base ball cap and a north face ' Tilley ' style hat

I have a few straw sunhats, a bucket hat which I regret buying, a fake fur one, and a couple of posh hats bought for weddings.

I only ever wear one of them, a straw hat affectionately known as Squashy Hat, on holiday.

I own eight hats. I wear all of them but I have four favorites which I wear more frequently than the other four. I'm very rarely go out without a hat. If it's sunny I wear a white straw boater and when it's cold I have a warm winter hat.

Weirdly both my mum and my husband have an irrational hatred of wearing hats.

Over a dozen. Hardly ever wear them because I feel like a fanny in a hat even though I love them.

None. I don't like wearing them and I look ridiculous in them!

I always carry a grey cashmere beanie in my bag - I can stick it on if it starts raining. The only other hat I tend to wear is a fisherman’s bucket hat I bought in a bait shop on a Scottish island for £5 about ten years ago, which has been a very useful purchase. We don’t have a dog but I walk our neighbour’s often and keep that hat in my pocket every time.

There are a couple of faux fur hats (one a trapper style thing with ear flaps) that come out in the absolute depths of winter but I would have to hunt them down in a bag of stuff in the hall cupboard.

I have about 4 straw hats for summer, 1 really cool festival hat its a bit like a steampunk but its purple and has beautiful lights on it, a 2 tone pork pie hat plus a little bowler like Pauline Black used to wear loads of berets, a furry one, a leather cowboy one, various crochet ones..can you tell I really like 👒

None. But my son must have half a dozen baseball caps, the same again in beanies, and at least two tweed flat cap type things. Possible a straw Panama type too.
My DD has about six wool berets.

I buy a new straw hat every summer because they always seem to get destroyed in transit.

Excluding my current straw hat, I have 2 baseball caps and about 5 woolly beanies (for skiing, walking and being out and about in winter). That's it.
