I had one last week, before that it was months since I had one. What about you?

Now, before this one was just over 3 weeks ago. Had a few in the last few months Angry

Early July.

MouseofCommons · 30/08/2024 19:27

Pre-covid. Certainly over 5yrs ago.

I've had flippin covid twice in 18 months though.

Tallyho15 · 30/08/2024 19:28

I have one right now

Simonjt · 30/08/2024 19:28

I currently have a life threatening case of man-flu, luckily the first time in about 18 months.

Sallycinnamum · 30/08/2024 19:29

I very rarely get colds but oh my days the one I'm suffering from at the moment is a shocker.

Normally I push on through but I had to go to bed at 7 last night as I felt so rough. Summer colds always seem to be worse than the winter variety.

Thevelvelletes · 30/08/2024 19:29

I'm very lucky Feb 2020 but at time felt like deaths door with a chest infection thrown in for good measure.

TuVuoiFaLamericano · 30/08/2024 19:30

April

Though I had cold symptoms when I had slapped cheek in May

Was quite possibly Covid at that time? My husband was also incredibly unwell Feb/March 2020 but of course we'll never know as we didn't test at that stage.

FatBuccaneer · 30/08/2024 19:33

I'm not sure I even remember the last time. I remember covid, persistent strep and a tummy bug since 2020 but honestly can't recall the last normal cold with sore throat and yards of snot. It must have been over 5 years?

Tisfortired · 30/08/2024 19:34

I have one right now but the last one was months ago. I think it’s because I’m not working at the moment so not going out communting/sitting in the office all day breathing in air conditioned germs.

BakewellGin1 · 30/08/2024 19:41

October last year. Both DS have one now so I'm trying to avoid it

OddBoots · 30/08/2024 19:43

Not since before Covid (although I have had that 3 times) - I did spend 10 years working in a pre-school though so I must have built up quite an immune system.

MooseAndSquirrelLoveFlannel · 30/08/2024 19:47

Right now, thankfully it's a mild one. My last serious cold was December 2023.

I'm very susceptible to colds, always have been and tend to get them badly. My colds have been worse than the 2 times I've had covid.

Pebbles16 · 30/08/2024 20:44

It's funny this came up tonight because I was thinking about this. I live in London and tube regularly. Pre-covid, I used to get colds left right and centre. Haven't had one for five years (touch wood). I mask and anti-bac regularly. It may not be cool, but it keeps the germs just outside the catching zone. Also never knowingly had covid (which is bloody weird).
