Who do you think will replace Bear Grylls?

My money is on Helen Skelton.

I make no predictions but hope whoever is chosen can be valuable in one of the important youth movements there is. Children and young people have far fewer options since youth provision from local authorities ended, that Scouts and indeed Guides are something to cherish more than ever.

I don't dismiss other activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme.
