What’s the best hotel recommendations for a hotel in Torquay? Adult stay but doesn’t need to be adults only, ideally nice view and good food! Pool and spa if possible.

I live within 30 minutes so haven't stayed in Torquay but a friend of my cousin runs this place https://www.berburryhotel.co.uk and my cousin raves about it. Sadly no pool or spa but they may have recommendations.

I have been to events at the Palace Hotel in Paignton. The food was very good and they do have a pool and spa but it's not in Torquay. It does look out over the sea though.

The Berburry Hotel in Torquay Devon offers 10 bedrooms situated on the ground and first floors. All rooms are individually designed with en-suite bathrooms.

In Torquay? I've had the misfortune to stay there a few times for family reasons and none have been good, very noisy (which is the other guests quite frankly not the hotel per se but does affect your enjoyment). Inland a bit you'll get something nicer. If it needs to be Torquay just book a chain, won't be amazing but shouldn't cost too much at least. Definitely avoid the Redcliffe in Paignton, was one of the worst hotels I've stayed in and was £££ (wedding, no choice really)

I can personally recommend The Belgrave Sands. It’s absolutely beautiful, near to the seafront. It’s got a small pool and steam room/sauna. Food is fantastic.
