I worked in admin many years ago and wish to return to this line of work.
However, I really would need to brush up on my skills and am looking into courses (Microsoft Office), and ideally with a certification at the end but it's a minefield. When I google there are so many 'free' courses popping up and many paid for courses too, apparently all offering very similar set ups. I have tried a cheaper course which was on the Janet's site but I found it very laborious, I appreciate it will take a while but it was so damn dreary that I could not concentrate.
Has anyone completed a free course? Did you find it helpful/worthwhile or should I just go straight into a pay for course?
