What to do in Gloucester?

I have a few hours to kill on Sunday in Gloucester. Is there anything unmissable? Is Gloucester Quays good for shopping or is the city centre better?

The cathedral is stunning so do see thst

There’s quite a nice art gallery on the edges

Docks is nice for shopping and wandering. City centre nothing much, but would depend what you are used to / what you are after

Don't go. I had a friend who visited for a medical conference. The potholes were so bad that in a rain shower he inadvertently stepped into very deep puddle and decided never to return.

Get a bus to Cheltenham.

I have no idea! I should have more of an idea as I’ve got cousins who live there (who’ve invited me to stay) but no, no idea.

The cathedral is very pretty, and it's where they filmed some sections of the Hogwarts scenes from Harry Potter. The area around it is nice as well.
