OMG! I kept wondering what was different about it, apart from being pedestrianised.

Last visited there in 1978 and never returned because of the pigeons 🤣

A friend wants to visit and asked me along.

I was thinking about this just a few days ago: buying the seed to feed them. I’ve got photos of me doing it from about 1996.

Yeah, same. I never thought of them as dreaded pigeons and would feed them like everyone else did. X

Nope, Ken dispersed them years ago and all of us in West London had to invest in putting pigeon spikes over every perchable surface to protect our gardens from pigeon shit. It was a bit cruel to the pigeons tbh, they were used to being fed and suddenly had nothing and had to disperse to find their own food.

They also use hawks to scare them away.
