What to have with spaghetti hoops?

I've just been reminded that they exist. Think I shall obtain a tin. What should I have with them?

on toast with cheese on top of the hoops, was the staple in my student diet 😂

But surely the tomato sauce is the expensive and slightly nutritious part. Once you wash that away, you're left with about 50grams of cooked pasta which cost 70p when you could buy 400g of dried pasta for less.

Jacket potato and cheese

You can buy the hoops dry fairly cheaply.

toast with proper butter and grated strong cheddar on top food of the gods

Hot buttered toast, plenty of butter. Salt and pepper, Plenty of salt

Another vote for buttered toast.

DO NOT buy the microwave version in small plastic pots. They are DISGUSTING. Buy a normal sized tin, and buy Heinz.

If you want the taste you remember get Asda's own brand. Full of salt and sugar just like Heinz used to make.

It's got to be toast or potato waffles with grated cheese.

Toast with lashings of butter, and chicken nuggets, oh and grated cheese!

Asda make the best baked beans and hoops!

To be honest, anything other than an organically grown cucumber is probably full of viagra chemicals to make it stay hard longer.

I can't eat either anymore but I used to love spaghetti hoops with cheese and onion quiche

My 5 yr old was introduced to them by her Grandad and she chooses to eat them cold. I do make her out them in a bowl though!

When you eat the hoops, you have to load them onto the prongs of the fork, like a spaghetti hoop tunnel.

Bin them. They're disgusting and even my kids wouldn't eat them. Cooking pasta is easy and quick, as well as cheap.

Scrambled eggs and heavily buttered toast 'oopsneggs is a favourite comfort food in this household
