I’ve no clue as it’s been 21 yrs since I last moved house and a lot as changed.

so bungalow is up for £299000, needs but updating for my liking, what sensible price would you go in at ?

So many factors to consider…

How long has it been on for? What have other similar properties in the area sold for? Is it a sought after type of property in that area? (bungalows round my way are so few and far between they get snapped up within days, often at above asking price).

It's always worth making an offer. It's my perception that most property is massively overpriced at the moment.

How much do you want to pay? If you knocked 10% off that takes you down to 270,000 ish. As PP says it depends how long it's been on, also are they in a chain?

We are selling MILs house, which we inherited this year. We just want rid so are much more flexible on price than if we were using the money to buy another property.

It’s just gone on the market, it’s a set part of if area I already live but bungalows are in one area they are sort after Some go very quick other stay on, so can’t really go of that.
Bungalow 3 bed has no chain, thinking care home possibly as obvious elderly by internal things.
