Looking for a sling like the hippy joey. Looking for it mainly for in the house and supportive cuddles not to wear as a baby carrier outside. I’ve seen the bebearmor adverts but don’t know if they’re a scam as no trust pilot review

I have a Hana sling which I adore. Would recommend a sling library when baby is here as they were so useful. I borrowed the Hana from them for 4 weeks and then got one on FB marketplace. You do have to keep practising or you forget but my LO is 5m now and still loves it for naps.

Liift pouch 100%. Made in Sheffield. You can hire them from Sheffield sling library to try first. They do a postal service and zoom fitting service. The staff are amazing

Thanks all, this is the one I think I was having in my head….
I think realistically I’m going to have several different wraps/slings to do different things at different times

@oustedbymymate that's so interesting. We are from Sheffield and went to the sling library and this sling was never mentioned! Strange considering it's made in Sheffield you'd think they'd be all over it

oustedbymymate · 31/08/2024 12:57

@Greenvelvetdress I guess it depends what you were looking for as it's a pouch rather than sling.

BertieBotts · 02/09/2024 19:45

Yes the generic name for this is a pouch. They tend not to be as supportive as the pictures suggest. You are better off with a stretchy wrap if you want the ability to put them in and out. Or possibly a ring sling.

Yes do you have a local sling meet or sling library? That can help a lot.

RightTrainer · 02/09/2024 21:32

Already have a wrap, just looking for a pouch as well I think.
