No contract=no notice needed?

Casual job, no contract, no set hours or times.

Do I need to give notice if not worried about burning bridges?

Statutory notice is one week if you’ve been in your job longer than a month. They’re possibly unlikely to do anything if you don’t give it if it’s a very informal job, but it’s always best to tie up lose ends properly. If it’s casual and zero hours, you aren’t obliged to accept any hours offered during your notice period, anyway.
