Two periods a month on mini pill.Age related?

What is this fresh hell?

I'm 44 and been on mini pill for around 6 months was previously on combined pill.
First month had a normal period then didn't have one for couple months then had one as normal and now I've had two in a month.
Anyone know if this will settle or is this the norm now?

I'm on the mini pill, 47 I had constant light bleeding for the first 4 months before it completely stopped.

I would say give it another couple of months. Also it's much more prone to other medication your not on anything else? You haven't had any antibiotics recently. I had some bleeding recently after antibiotics.

Not always practical but I found taking it in the middle of the day more effective.

No antibiotics but I've recently been on holiday abroad maybe the 5hr flight knocked things out of sync? I'm clutching at straws
