Not sure if it’s more than a cold?

Hi All, for a couple of weeks now I’ve been feeling so rough. it started with a sore throat and an ear ache on one side and feeling just generally unwell and now it’s not getting any better at all. My throat is still sore, I do have a cold but I am also completely worn out and have absolutely zero energy no matter how much rest I get. Usually if I take paracetamol, and have an early night I can manage fine with it but I’m completely wiped out and don’t have the energy to do anything. I feel shaky and cold but warm to touch. No appetite either but making sure to drink plenty. Does this sound like more than a cold as it’s been going on a lot longer than what is normal for me and I’m feeling so wiped out I don’t want to move. TIA

I don't think it really matters what you have does it?

If you haven't got white bits indicating tonsillitis then seeing a doctor isn't much use - they don't really treat ear infections nowadays.

I'd just hazard a guess and say you have a cold/flu type virus and manage the symptoms and tuck yourself up on the sofa with a good box set. We had something over Easter and both DC and I I had a raging temperature, felt rough as anything but it did go after a week or so.

Yeah it was negative. Still feel like death think I have a UTI as well
