Ds is 9 going into year 5. He has autism. He's going to struggle with the change. But within the same few weeks he's also got to have ti go and see secondary schools. Obviously he's hot year 5 &6 before he actually starts year 7. But he won't understand that and it will really upset him. He's been at the same school since he's been 3 so he has no other memory other than that school.
How can I prepare him ? Normally I try not to make it a thing . But It feels different this time. And a bit much for him so close together.
