Family Resources Survey - anyone had a letter?

Or taken part previously?

I've had a letter in the post today saying our address has been selected. Have googled, all above board, £10 voucher to be exchanged at the post office included. But I really could do without it. Government website advises it takes around an hour. The only 'next step' is that a surveyor calls at your house but there's no indication of when that might be.

I work from home so I'm going to spend the next however many weeks waiting for someone to knock and I also don't really fancy a stranger sat in my house asking me questions for an hour.

Surely they should include a link to opt out. It does say that it's voluntary but I would prefer to be able to state that before someone descends on me.
