Best caesar salad in London?

DD is a self-confessed chicken caesar salad connoisseur and makes it her mission to find the best one everywhere we go. We’re looking for a nice sit down restaurant for a pre theatre dinner. In and around west London (preferably Chelsea or Soho) would be ideal but equally very open to other options in search of the perfect Caesar..

Any ideas much appreciated!!

We went to Planet Hollywood at Disney a few months ago - can confirm they still do a very nice one!

I love a good Caesar Salad so I am following with interest.

I enjoy it with a side of fries.

Yes, always with a side of fries and a Coca-Cola for DD. She calls it her holy trinity 🤣

Probably not the sort of place you are thinking of but one of my favourite Caesar salads ever was from a John Lewis restaurant.

Not convenient for the west end but the best one I've had was at a service station on an autoroute in France, or perhaps Italy (near border!)

I like a Cajun chicken one myself, I make regularly

I hate peoples ordering chips with a salad, and I have no idea why.

Nandos do a very nice chicken caesar salad again now.

One of my favourite dishes, and there are many variants.

For the more traditional sort your daughter may like, you may like to try Hawksmoor. They have a restaurant in Covent Garden and another at the bottom of Regent Street - where it bends at the bottom, there is a narrow street on the right, called Aire or Air Street and its tucked under there at the end.

If you are adventurous and prepared to try different salads, I recommend my favourite London restaurant for a light meal, which is Le Vieux Comptoir, tucked in the end of Moxon Street, Marylebone. You can have this together - charcuterie, Parisienne salad and some proper quiche. Delicious, and there is a small wine shop you walk through if you wish to select a wine with your meal. Very relaxed.
