I just went to throw mag in rack today, very slightly bent not much and wham my back started
i cant put and pressure movement
ie like getting up/down the pain is acute

ive walked around house for a bit, then went to lie on mattress for couple of hours which was ok laying in one spot

come to get up and go to loo and the bending to get on toilet and back up just presses on “whatever it is” and causes a spasm
im too scared to move !
once up thou walking about im fine. It’s the moving up/down in position and coughing that it starts up again

i cant take Ibuprofen , so taken paracetamol & just had 2mg diazepam

any one suffer this ? What do you do to calm it down to get it right please

The reason that happens is usually "the straw that broke the camel's back," in this case literally. When backs are weak or strained, something minor - picking up a pen, sneezing - can cause a debilitating spasm.
You've done the right thing with the paracetamol and the diazepam. You might want to call 111 to see about co-codamol.

Also try moist heat compresses and as much relaxation as you can, but don't immobilise yourself. Listen to your body.
It may take a day or two to heal. And then you should start to condition your back so it doesn't happen again.
