I want to book a few days abroad for myself, DH and adult DD.
However, I have elderly parents who are mostly ok but have a deteriorating health condition and there is a tiny chance it might mean we can't go in they need me. It's not death or anything just that they may be in a state or mess and need me.
I'm stressed because I don't want to risk losing £2k but equally if I don't book soon I'll lose the holiday?
I've googled and most insurance is saying they won't pay if 'you change your mind'
Has anyone been in this position? What did you do ?
