Omg yes!
So witty and such fantastically developed characters.
Rude, so if you're easily shocked probably not.

MêmePasPeur · 28/08/2024 11:24

Series 2 is even better!

nappysan · 28/08/2024 11:25

Hilarious and quite adult!

CornishTeaTime · 28/08/2024 11:25

I thought it was a serious drama 😀 will give it a go

Well it was ok

Brbreeze · 28/08/2024 11:26

I love it. Enjoyed season 1, but season 2 I genuinely think is one of the best things created in TV. Absolutely love the writing, the acting, everything.

Beth216 · 28/08/2024 11:26

I couldn't get past the first episode as I found her so dislikeable in a tedious way.

eish · 28/08/2024 11:27

I loved it but I can see why for some people it might not be their cup of tea.

zingally · 28/08/2024 11:31

Definitely. Very enjoyable!

FartingAgainstThunder · 28/08/2024 11:32

It's fucking fabulous.
Rude and very witty whilst being incredibly sad at points.
Excellent writing, fabulous cast.

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 28/08/2024 11:34

I can't stand it. I find her character absolutely insufferably annoying!

Oh no. It is not serious.

Mumdiva99 · 28/08/2024 11:36

It wasn't for me at all.

I watched the televised version of the play and really didn't enjoy it.

Hoplolly · 28/08/2024 11:36

I only just watched it but binged it in two days and loved every minute!

NewNameNoelle · 28/08/2024 11:37

Very enjoyable in all respects.

Some very honest female side views of sex. My DH scoffed, implying that it wasn’t accurate, and promptly shut up when I told him it was. He was flabbergasted 😂

Begsthequestion · 28/08/2024 11:38

It's quite entertaining, and the lead character is definitely an anti hero.

Saved By The Bell Shrug GIF by PeacockTV

I’ve tried to watch it twice but I find the programme really cringe-worthy. The asides to the camera are cheesy and remind me of Zack in Saved by the Bell.

SatinHeart · 28/08/2024 11:39

It's great! I liked series 2 better.

MidYearDiary · 28/08/2024 11:39

I wasn't crazy about it. It's a darker, angrier, more self-consciously cool take on Bridget Jones, really, with lots of breaking the fourth wall/addressing the camera. I felt I'd seen it before.

What it does have, and what really kept me watching, is the fact it has an excellent cast, including Fiona Shaw, Kristin Scott-Thomas, Olivia Colman and Andrew Scott. And the actress who plays Fleabag's sister, whose name I don't know, was brilliant.

BurbageBrook · 28/08/2024 11:40

I like it but I think it's overrated.

Same here. Didn't find it one bit funny, it's so predictable

I actually think the asides were very clever, especially in the second series. Who is she speaking to? Why? Who are we to her? What do other people see when she does that?

SerenityNowInsanityLater · 28/08/2024 11:43

For the opening scene to series 2, it’s a must that you watch Fleabag… and also, ‘you are a weaky.’

CheerfulBunny · 28/08/2024 11:44

I didn't like it at all, unfortunately. I am a bit strange in that I struggle to enjoy things if I don't like the characters or can't sympathise with them so it wasn't for me.

But it's just a theatre convention left over from the show's origin in Phoebe W-B's one-woman stage show at the Edinburgh Fringe.
