Lately I've been browsing Vinted and eBay, and putting a watch on items I like the look of or intend to buy after next payday, that sort of thing.
But I'm noticing now that every time I watch something, almost immediately I will get an email or message offering me a discount or pushing me to buy the item. I have now seen there are settings on Vinted to stop people being notified of the 'like', but I haven't checked eBay yet.
Is this new? I feel like it's a new feature or behaviour from sellers on Vinted especially, I only just recently re-opened my dusty old eBay account so I'm not sure about that one.
One Vinted seller messaged me really late last night, saying "I hope this doesn't come across as intrusive, but would you still like to buy this..." erm, yes, actually, it does. 😖
