Can anyone help with this urine dip result please...

Hi all,

I've been weeing more lately so decided to do a urine dip as we have some in the cupboard.

The "specific gravity" looks a bit high, although I think the high is still normal.
Also the Kertone result is not clear. I've done 3 tests in case they are faulty and the Kertone looks dark grey in each/a bit of a purple tinge in some light. Is this faulty? They are in date and I followed the instructions.
I'm not pregnant or diabetic or on any kind of diet.

Well a high SG would indicate you’re dehydrated. The ketones doesn’t match the strip, have you lined it up correctly? Tbh unless you actually know what you’re looking at I wouldn’t do it.

As a HCP this is why I do t like people taking tests they don't understand. Why can't you get your surgery to do a urinalysis?
