Free samples from supermarket online shopping

I was unaware of this until I saw a post on Facebook at the weekend. And I don't know if it's all supermarkets - I use Tesco.

In the app, search for "sample", and add any you fancy. Today, with my Click and Collect order, I got samples of Coke Zero with Lemon (mini can - 150ml), Fairy Platinum Dishwasher Tablets (3 tablets) and a 440ml can of Fosters Proper Shandy.

Each sample came with a money off coupon attached to it.

I don't know if this is a regular thing, but I will be checking regularly.

These samples are available online only.

I just tried Sainsbury's and got loads of Simple brands and Oats so Simple as a search result. So It doesn't work i Sainsbury's!

I've just tried all the supermarket apps. Only works on Tesco. Good to know though!

I get random freebies regularly - generally different cans of soft drinks. Nothing that I recognise or actually fancy! But I had a muller corner a few weeks ago. All Waitrose.

Nothing in sainsburys. It assumed I wanted ‘simple’ and listed toiletries, Quaker Oats and some odour removers.

I've had an occasional item I haven't ordered online delivered from Ocado and have been told it's a gift.

I think they should give more. I certainly spend enough.

Ocado are quite good for this, I get star reviewer items, got free lindt chocolate last week, almond milk and fererero rocher icecream this week in return for a review.

Occasionally they give a coupon for the whole price of an item, so got a Bol smoothie last week and I saw free turkeys and hams after new year last year, but wasn't quick enough to bagsy it.

Ooh I didn't know this? I once randomly received three bars of simple soap from Tesco with vouchers attached.

Oh, maybe that's it. You need to have booked a slot first.

I've just checked, and although I have started my next basket, I've not booked a slot, and the offers are still showing for me.

I don't know if I'll get them sent with my shopping again if I add them for next week. That'll be exciting 😀😄

Just tried it with Tesco and nothing 😒. However in my delivery today I got 8 kitchen rolls made from recycled paper as a freebie!
