Guilt for not going away?

Me and my fiance get married next week (small wedding) we haven’t booked holiday yet as we were waiting for passports etc and have been weighing places up

we have a 2.5 yo and a 7mo so the thought of flying is scaring me and the whole airport experience and tbh going away I’m very nervous

however I’ve got so so much guilt if we don’t take the kids abroad, we’ve done every year since our eldest was born but the fear of how stressful it’ll be is just getting to me

it will be a majorly last minute booked one! Found some good kids hotels / nice areas

Go somewhere in uk if thats where you live, at that age they wont know or-care if its abroad.

We did think this but then worried will the weather be bad etc!

I don’t know why because a sunny hotel with a kids play area and entertainment vs a haven site would be just as good for the age of my kids

The kids won't care whether it is abroad or in the UK, and it would be a lot less hassle for all concerned if you go somewhere like Haven or Center Parcs.
