London restaurant recommendation

I'm bringing DD(11) to London in November to see Matilda, as her birthday treat. I'd like to take her for a nice brunch/lunch before the show - could anyone recommend somewhere that feels a little bit special? The show is in the Cambridge Theatre on Seven Dials, so somewhere nearby would be great. DD is a vegetarian, I eat everything

Sushisamba Covent Garden (not just sushi!)

If the menu at Sushisamba is a bit too adventurous, try Petersham Nurseries. It's very pretty and has a more mainstream menu.

Very theatrical and more about the show than the actual food, but every time I've been, children just love it. They used to be on groupon, but I don't know if that is even a thing?
