Iām sat fuming. Second night in a row and need to vent because my OH cannot take it anymore š
I have neighbours of single mum and her three kids. One teenager, two primary age: Generally get on well. We are neighbourly, our kids play out together. I let them borrow things. We chat over the fence. But every few months she has a stint of all night parties and it makes me want to tear my hair out.
im not talking about loud but finishes at 12. Iām talking gets louder at 12 and is still happening at 3pm the next day. We are semi detatched. The music booms through. Itās so loud, can hear screaming and shouting. Laughing and yelling under our bedroom window. We have had teenagers crawling under our car, some random bloke in our garden before and itās absolutely insane.
What pisses me off too is that I have a baby that it wakes up, a child who canāt sleep and I am grieving a significant loss. She knows all this. Iāve told her, she tells me she will turn it down and it goes quiet for 5 mins and then starts all over again.
my OH had a 5am argument with her when I was 5 months pregnant. She always apologises the next day but weāve had two days in a row and Iāve had ENOUGH. My baby is awake. Dogs are going mad and Iām lost at what to do.
spoken to her nicely, spoken to her angrily, called the police once and it goes quiet for a bit then it happens again. We are literally in the process of selling our house because I cannot deal with it anymore but what do I do in the meantime? We own our house, she rents. I know I could call landlord but I donāt want bad blood or my kids to miss out on their friends. š¤¬š¤¬
